Making The Cut

Twelve acts will compete on March 4, where four acts will be decided based on jury votes, and two from the public. The jury is made of: Alexandra Cepraga (music director), Horia Moculescu (composer and producer) Randi (singer and producer), Zoli Toth (represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 as part of Sistem) and Cezar (represented Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013).

Familiar Face

Notable of the 12 entrants is Mihai Traistariu who represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 finishing 4th. Romania has traditionally fared well at Eurovision, always making it to the grand finals since the introduction of the semi-finals, but still has yet to win a contest.
