A 120% gain in PBS sponsors for Eurovision 2016

After Ira Losco won the Malta Eurovision Song Contest back in February, she gained 120% more sponsors compared to 2015. It was said by the PBS Directors Board that they are happy for achieving success in profit from commercial activities, that the company made from the programs that were streamed from PBS with Eurovision.

The board said after this good news that PBS lacked the funds that were given by government in previous years. The board praised Ira Losco and her manager Howard Keith Debono for their professional performance in Stockholm. The board thanked the Head of Delegation, PBS CEO Anton Attard, for his vision in television production in the highest quality, that reached 200 million viewers. Also, he thanked for the positive finance result and all of the team, which made many sacrifices by working without rest, the commercial sponsors of Ira, and even of PBS.
