Over 200 acts want to represent Ireland at Eurovision in Vienna!

Last month, we reported that RTE was to allow the Irish public to enter Eurosong 2015 in order to find the country’s entry for Eurovision 2015.

This has already proved to be somewhat of a success for RTE as they have reportedly received a high volume of entries.

According to Independent.ie, over 200 hopefuls have entered Ireland’s 2015, in hopes of representing Eurovision’s most successful country, in Vienna!

Rumored entries include Leanne Moore (Eurosong 2010 with ‘Does Heaven Need Much More?‘) with girl band, Lir, and UK X Factor contestant Mary Byrne with a song written by Karl Broderick (writer of Ireland’s 2005 entry, ‘Love?‘).

Jedward (Ireland 2011, 2012) and Ryan Dolan (Ireland 2013) have also stated they would like to return to the contest.

Ireland’s national final is expected to be held in February.

Take a listen below for some possible returning sounds!
