2014 tickets on sale this Friday!
If you are planning on getting tickets for one of the nine shows of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen next year, the first tickets will be available this Friday, November 29, at 10.00 CET. This was announced in a press release today by the EBU.
17,5 – 245 Euros
Ticket prices start as low as 130 Danish kroner including fees, approximately 17.50 euros, and will be handled by the Danish ticket agency, Billetlugen. The most premium ticket will cost you a whopping 1,830 Danish kroner, approximately 245 euros.
Besides the three main live shows, you can also get more affordable tickets to the three jury shows the night before each live show, and to the family shows that take place in the afternoon.
More tickets coming next year
But don’t panic if you don’t manage to get tickets this Friday. As all details of the show and floor plan are yet to be finalized, it is only a third of the tickets that will be available this Friday. The audience capacity is yet to be announced. There will be another chance for more tickets on January 31, and again, sometime in April.
Gems for next year’s theme?
With the announcement also comes what could be a first look at the visual identity for next year’s show, as the above illustration is used on the website of Billetlugen, using dark hues of purple and blue, and gem-like renderings.
UPDATE: Jan Lagermand Lundme, the 2014 Head of Show, has confirmed to eurovision.tv that it is indeed a preview but not finalized version of the 2014 show graphics.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, on May 6, 8, and 10. Tickets will be available here.
