A look into the current betting odds

A lot can change in the betting world, and last night, that was definitely the case. Only minutes after the qualifiers were announced for the first semi-final, the odds on betting sites shifted. Although all of the betting favorites made the cut, the places moved inexplicably.
Before the start of the first semi-final, the top place for the bookmakers was Armenia, with Sweden at second, United Kingdom third, and Ukraine at fourth.
As soon as the qualifiers were announced, Sweden jumped to the top place, with Armenia dropping from its long-held first place in the betting. Also, The Netherlands jumped from about 8th in the odds to third place!
San Marino, who was in 37th place in the betting before the show, managed to qualify, destroying all predictions. Despite the shock qualification, San Marino still hangs at the bottom of the board, at third to last to win Eurovision 2014.
