Axel Hirsoux and Bandits move on to Belgian final!

Axel Hirsoux and Bandits move on to Belgian final!
Eric Nocito

After the final four artists presented their potential Eurovision entries to the Belgian audience for the first time, only two moved on to the final on March 16.

This was determined by a combination of points given by the jury and the public.

The line-up (jury points):

  • Nelson – “Wild Side” (83)
  • Axel Hirsoux – “Mother” (99)
  • Tisha Cyrus – “Kitty Cat” (68)
  • Bandits – “One” (90)

The judges placed Axel Hirsoux in the first place, with Bandits in second place. Nelson and Tisha Cyrus received the third and fourth places, respectively. With the televote, Axel Hirsoux and Bandits kept their first and second places, eliminating Nelson and Tisha Cyrus.

This means that Axel Hirsoux and Bandits move on to the Belgian final.

The show concludes next Sunday, March 16, with the final, when the winner is selected and becomes Belgium’s representative for Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
