Betting odds for the Grand Final

Betting odds for the Grand Final

With less than 4 hours before the start of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, it is important to note the changes and final predictions for the winner.

Sanna Nielsen and Sweden has remained at the top of the betting odds since her qualification in the first semi-final.

Within minutes after Conchita Wurst’s performance in the second semi-final, the betting odds to win Eurovision went up dramatically for Austria. Originally around eighth place in the odds, the bookmakers moved her up to fourth, even before she was announced as a qualifier. As soon as she was announced as qualifying for the final, Austria shot up to second place in the odds, just behind Sweden.

From then, The Netherlands, which was briefly at second place in the odds, moved back down to third place, with Armenia dropping even further down, to fourth.

United Kingdom remains at fifth place, followed by Ukraine at sixth, and Hungary at seventh.

On the other end of the board, Valentina Monetta and San Marino remain at the bottom in odds, followed by Belarus and Montenegro.

Will the bookmaker choice win? We will know in less than six hours.

UPDATE: Austria has moved to the top and is set to win Eurovision 2014 with the bookmakers. Sweden is now 2nd to win. Armenia has moved to 6th, United Kingdom to 7th, Denmark to 5th, and Ukraine has moved up to 4th. The Netherlands is still strong at 3rd.
