Details of Eesti Laul 2015 revealed

Eesti Laul, the process that Estonia has been using to select their entry for the past six years, is to change slightly in 2015. This was revealed on Eesti Laul’s official website, Eestilaul.err.ee.

Instead of having two songs in the Super Final as usual, 2015 will have three songs. Heidy Purga, 2015 Producer, said that this is to give the audience more choice over who represents their country. The deadline for songs to be submitted will be December 1, 2014. The jury will select the best 20 songs and publish them no later than December 5, 2014. Ten songs will compete in each semi-final, with the top 5 from each semi-final qualifying for the final.

The first semi-final will take place on February 7, 2015.
The second semi-final will take place on February 14, 2015.
The final takes place on February 21, 2015.

Tanja won Eesti Laul 2014 with her song “Amazing” and represented Estonia in Copenhagen this year, however she failed to qualify for the final.
