Eurovision 2015 dates changed!

It’s official. After it was rumored that the preliminary dates would be changed after the venue requirements of ORF was released, it is now confirmed that the dates have been moved ahead one week.

The confirmed dates for Eurovision 2015 are May 19 (Semi-Final 1), May 21 (Semi-Final 2), and May 23 (Grand Final).

It was initially stated by the General Director of ORF, Alexander Wrabetz, in an interview, that the dates were moved to a more suitable time frame for Austria’s hosting.

In the coming weeks, ORF will also announce the 2015 host city and venue. The bidding war continues between Graz, Innsbruck, and Vienna.
