Six artists from four different countries took to a recording studio in Vienna today to ‘build bridges’ between their countries and record a new song together.

Tamar Kaprelian, Mary-Jean O’Doherty, and Stephanie Topalian from Armenia, Elina Born from Estonia, Elhaida Dani from Albania and Maria Elena Kyriakou from Greece are the singers of the new song “The Other Side.”

The idea of recording a song together came from Genealogy’s Tamar Kaprelian, who is also the writer of the lyrics and the composer of the song. The song is one of peace and unity and is also a special gift for Eurovision’s 60th anniversary.

“Music has the ability to bring people together. We are different artists, from different countries, with different backgrounds, but music has the power to unite. It unites and eliminates cultural differences. It is an honor that the girls agreed to be a part of this.”, says Tamar.

A release date for the song has not yet been announced.
