  • Loïc was born and raised in Courcelles, Belgium.

    At age 17, Loïc competed in The Voice Belgique in 2014. Mentored by Beverly Jo Scott, he quickly became a favourite of the Belgian public and eventually finished in second place.

    After The Voice Belgique, Loïc was signed to Sony Music Entertainment.

    Loïc’s musical inspiration is Australian artist, Sia.

     


  • In November 2014, Belgian Francophone broadcaster, RTBF, announced that they had internally selected Loïc Nottet to represent Begium at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest.

    In March 2015, Loïc’s song for Eurovision was revealed at a press conference as the rhythmic pop song, “Rhythm Inside,” the lyrics of which, were written by Loïc’s mentor from The Voice Belgique, Beverly Jo Scott.
