On December 14, the second audition of the Cypriot Preselection aired. Eight more entrants presented their songs and five of them qualified to the next round, the Eurochallenge, which is going to take place on January 18 and January 25.

Again, viewers were able to listen one minute of each entry. Singers had also to sing their favorite Eurovision song in acapella form. In the second audition, Charalampos “Luna” Iosif, who participated in audition 1 and qualified to the Eurochallenge, participated again.

 

Here you can find the five entries which qualified:

  • Christina Tselepou – “In these arms”, with 4/4 positive votes


 

  • Valence – “Scared”, with 4/4 positive votes


 

  • Pieros Kezou – “Said it all before”, with 4/4 positive votes


 

  • Mariana Moskofian & Christina Hadjiordanous – “Sailing ships, pirates and dragons”, with 4/4 positive votes


 

  • Ioanna Protopapa – “Beat of my heart”, with 3/4 votes


 

The three entries which failed to qualify are:

  • Charalambos “Luna” Iosif – “Call for me”, with 0/4 positive votes
  • Lady Ava – “Until the end of time”, with 0/4 positive votes
  • Kostas Archondous – “Steko akoma”, with 1/4 positive votes

So the 9 entries which are going to take place on the Eurochallenge so far are:

  1. Eva Diva – “Come and Fight for freedom”
  2. Emily Charalambous – “Right in”
  3. Charalambos “Luna” Iosif – “I wanna dance”
  4. Maria Evangelou – “Still”
  5. Christina Tselepou – “In these arms”
  6. Valence – “Scared”
  7. Peiros Kezou – “Said it all before”
  8. Mariana Moskofian & Christina Hadjiordanous – “Sailing ships, pirates and dragons”
  9. Ioanna Protopapa – “Beat of my heart”
