Eva Jacobs and Udo move on to the Belgian final!

Eva Jacobs and Udo move on to the Belgian final!
Eric Nocito

After four artists presented their potential Eurovision entries to the Belgian audience for the first time, only two moved on to the final on March 16. This was determined by a combination of points given by the jury and the public.

The line-up:

  • Day One – “Whoever You Are”
  • Eva Jacobs – “Nothing Is Impossible”
  • Udo – “Hero (In Flanders Fields)”
  • Petra – “Killer Touch”

The judges placed Eva Jacobs with 91 points in the first place, with Day One just one point behind at 90. Udo and Petra shared the last place with 75 points. However, with the televote, Eva Jacobs placed first, but Day One placed third, eliminating them. Instead, Udo placed second, with Petra taking the last place.

This means that Eva Jacobs and Udo move on to the Belgian final.

The show continues over the next three Sundays, with semi-finals on March 2 and March 9, and the final on March 16, when the winner is selected and becomes Belgium’s representative for Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
