First rehearsals, part 2: Finland, Greece, Estonia, Macedonia
The first four countries to have their first rehearsals today were Moldova, Armenia, Belgium, and The Netherlands. The next four on the Eurovision stage were Finland, Greece, Estonia, and Macedonia!
Check out the first impressions of their rehearsals below.
Finland’s performance has not seemed to have changed at all from their performance at UMK. Lots of smoke is used on the stage.
Maria Elena is dressed in a low cut sparkling black and silver dress as she stands on the stage delivering a vocally perfect performance. She is accompanied by a piano player sitting at a large white piano. The midnight blue LEDs resemble a starry night sky, and a circle of lights can be seen behind Maria Elena.
One of this year’s fan favourites, Stig and Elina from Estonia are yet another country to give flawless vocals at their first rehearsal. Stig wears a black suit while Elina looks stunning in a black jumpsuit. The graphics behind them show a skyline. The LEDs in the background are silver for this performance.
Daniel’s performance is much more exciting than his Skopje fest performance in November, perhaps due to the revamp of the song. Daniel’s three male backing vocalists, Merge, seem to overpower him at some points in the performance. The graphics behind the stage show falling leaves and a sunset. Daniel is dressed in a long white coat.

Stay tuned for part three tomorrow!
