First rehearsals, part 5: Lithuania, Ireland, San Marino, Montenegro

First rehearsals, part 5: Lithuania, Ireland, San Marino, Montenegro
Emma Kiernan

Today was day three of rehearsals in Vienna, and like previous days, eight countries took to the stage for the first time.

Here, we take a look at the first rehearsals of Lithuania, Ireland, San Marino and Montenegro.

Lithuania

Monika wears a short white, red and blue dress while Vaidas wears grey pants and a grey waistcoat. They stand next to each other and look into each other’s eyes for the majority of the song. On each side of Monika and Vaidas are a pair of male and female backing singers. The graphics behind the stage resemble purple flowers and a swirling sunset.

Ireland

Molly sits at a piano, accompanied by a band and two female backing singers. Behind Molly are images of a forest. Molly’s performance is very similar to the one she gave at Eurosong 2015.

San Marino

Michele is dressed in a leather jacket and jeans while Anita is wearing a short white dress. Their voices seem small on the big stage. An image of the world is displayed in the background. Michele and Anita have four backing singers, dressed in black and clapping along to the song. The LEDs change from orange to blue during the performance.

Montengro

Dressed in a black suit, Knez delivers a great vocal performance. Five backing vocalists, also dressed completely in black stand closely behind Knez. A red and blue mountain can be seen in the background. No lights are used in this performance apart from a large spotlight signing on the performers.
