Germany: It’s Jamie-Lee Kriewitz for Eurovision

On February 25, “Unser Lied für Stockholm” took place in Cologne and Jamie-Lee Kriewitz was announced as the big winner!

Ten singers performed their songs but only three managed to make it to the super-final. The three winning acts were:

 

  • Avastasia“Mystery of a blood red rose”
  • Alex Diehl“Nur ein lied”
  • Jamie-Lee Kriewitz“Ghost”

 

Jamie-Lee was the winner of the first round receiving 28.78% of the votes. In the super-final, she was announced as a winner having received 44.5% of the votes.

The 17-year-old singer won The Voice Germany and she has already managed to conquer a top place in the charts. Her music has been popular in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

She will perform “Ghost” in Sweden on behalf of Germany.
