Go behind the scenes of Eurovision 2013 with SVT
Hosting the Eurovision Song Contest, one of the biggest entertainment shows in the world, is a large undertaking. When the Swedish national broadcaster SVT took on the challenge, a camera crew followed behind the scenes of the preparations, rehearsals, and live broadcast to 170 million people.
This has resulted in a documentary, with interviews with key people, such as show producer Christer Björkman, scriptwriter Edward af Sillén, and host Petra Mede.
Among other things, it gives a look into the drama that developed on the Friday before the Grand Final, when everything started going wrong and last minute details had to fall into place.
The documentary airs on SVT1 and SVT Play, in Swedish, on December 28 at 22.10 CET,
If you are a Melodifestivalen fan, SVT has also made a documentary about the 2013 edition and the road to Malmö, going behind the scenes and following the winner Robin Stjernberg and the many other artists of the show. The documentary “The Road to Malmö” airs January 4 at 22.30 CET, also on SVT1 and SVT Play.
