Greece decides on March 6 for Eurovision 2017

 ERT has made the official announcement for the national selection!

On March 6 Greece will choose the song which will represent the nation on the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev.

Demy has already been selected to represent the country. The three songs are composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos while the lyrics are written by John Ballard and Romy Papadea (Demy's sister).

The video clips have been recorded in Greece and Ukraine as well. Demy visited Odessa to film the videos. 

Hosts of the show will be Antonis Loudaros and Elena Bouzala.

The voting method

The winning song will be chosen by the Greek televoting and 9 juries. The juries are made up by Greek people living abroad. 

ERT has announced that the sum which will be raised by the voting will be donated to charities.

Interval act 

Hovig, who will represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, will be present. He will perform his Eurovision entry called "Gravity." The song is composed by Thomas G:son.

March 6 is the date for Greece! The show will be broadcasted by ERT1.
