Hungary has chosen Freddie for Eurovision 2016!
Super Saturday saw the selection process come to an end for many countries, including Hungary.
A Dal 2016 concluded with Freddie winning the public vote to go on to represent Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
Two Rounds to Victory
The first round had a jury select four acts to advance to a final round, whereby the public would then vote. It was revealed at the end that Freddie, with his song “Pioneer,” would be the one to win A Dal 2016.
A Bit About Freddie
The 25-year-old, born Gábor Alfréd Fehérvári, first came into the public eye when he came in fourth place in the Hungarian version of the talent contest Rising Star.
He also collaborated with András Kállay-Saunders with the single “Mary Joe” in 2015.
