Ira Losco given a big welcome by all her fans after Eurovision
A massive welcome for Ira Losco in Luqa Airport, after her appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 placing at 12th place. Visibly, the singer Losco which represented Malta back in 2002 placing 2nd place in Talliin, was emotional and appreciated the welcome and all the encouragement during her journey.
In the airport was the Ministry of Culture Owen Bonnici, which in his first comments, he said that the show was excellent. Signing autographs and taking selfies, Losco encouraged to participate in this contest, which a unique experience. She also expressed her appreciation for the juries voted for her, placing first in the jury votes in the first semi-final.
Anton Attard – Head of Delegation, PBS CEO was questioned about the funds for Losco’s performance, saying that it was all commercial, so the funds came from sponsors and advertising, not from the taxpayers’ money.
