Maltese prime minister congratulates Ira Losco
Maltese singer Ira Losco made a visit to the Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat in Castille. Accompanied with Anton Attard – Head of Delegation, the PBS CEO, and Losco’s manager, Howard Keith Debono. Losco said that she is honoured for the opportunity to represent Malta in Eurovision.
Losco added that it is a big opportunity for local singers to show their talents and represent Malta in the most professional way.
Joseph Muscat was happy with her performance in the contest. He praised the team which was there for the journey from Malta and Sweden. He concluded that the singer made a big example of the country which is welcomed by equality and minor rights.
Ira Losco said that Malta achieved good points, when you compare them with the jury votes in the first semi-final. When she was asked if she will participate in the Eurovision again, she said that it is early to say, but nothing will be excluded, because the Eurovision experience is something fantastic. She concluded by saying a big thank you to PBS and all the Maltese people.
