It’s official! Maria Yaremchuk, with the song “Tick-Tock,” has won the Ukrainian national selection and will represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014!

This makes her the sixth artist known for Eurovision 2014. Viktoriya Petryk gained the second place and Volodymyr Tkachenko got the third. Viktor Romanchenko got 4th, while ILLARIA, Nataliya Valevska, and NeAngely tied for 5th. Yevhen Litvinkovych received the 8th place, despite getting third place in the televote.

Surprisingly, NeAngely and Nataliya Valevska received lower places than expected in SMS voting, since they were two of the top favorites to win the selection.

The interval act consisted of Sofia Tarasova, who received the second place at Junior Eurovision 2013, Mika Newtown (Ukraine 2012), and Ukrainian singers Masha Sobko, Matias, and Nataliya Buchynska. Kamaliya also performed her hit “I’m Alive” in an undoubtedly energetic performance.
