Israel’s national broadcaster (IBA) has announced the title of the song that their representative will sing in Vienna during for the 60th Eurovision Song Contest! Nadav Guedj, who was chosen last Tuesday to represent the nation, will sing ‘Golden Boy’ which was written by Doran Medali.
Medali was responsible for directing the Israeli entries in 2008, 2010 and 2013. In addition to this, he has written songs for previous representatives of the nation such as Sarit Hadad and Harel Skaat who took part in 2002 and 2010 respectively. One of Medali’s biggest achievements was translating Greece’s 2010 entry, ‘OPA,’ into Hebrew for Omer Adam who made it a huge success in his native Israel.
