Two rounds

Like the previous two years, EMA 2016 will consist of two rounds of voting. The jury will have full control of picking two acts from the show in the first round, who will proceed to a super final. Here, it will be fully up to the public to decide who will represent Slovenia in Stockholm.

EMA 2016 will air live on February 27.

Last year, Maraaya represented Slovenia with the song “Here For You,” being one of the favorites to win. After opening the Grand Final, they ultimately ended up in 14th place.
