Report from Eurovision 2015 Semi-Final 2 Qualifiers’ Press Conference
The Grand Final is complete! After tonight’s semi-final, the last ten countries join the ten that qualified last week, along with the Big 5, Austria, and Australia.
Following their victory, the press conference took place at 23:30 CET in the press center.
After a brief two-question Q&A round for each artist, a drawing took place to determine which half each country would perform in the Grand Final.
Vaidas from Lithuania spoke on his song, saying that it is a statement to show Europe that Lithuania is integrating and that everyone should have equal rights and love whoever they want.
Monika from Poland spoke on her accident that left her in a wheelchair, concluding that it is always best to look on the bright side of things, and that is why she is here.
A joke tweet by Michele Perniola of San Marino comparing the Swedish entry to “Lovers on the sun” was brought up, but the aspect of the joke was left out of the question. Måns mentioned it, stating that he doesn’t find it as similar as others have said.
Norway was awkwardly silent when they were initially asked their feelings at the time, but joked more and opened up as time went on.
Check back tomorrow for the report of the dress rehearsal of the Grand Final!
