The Maltese national broadcaster, PBS, has revealed some changes for their selection for Eurovision 2017.
First off, the Maltese public and their corresponding televote will have have the only say in who represents Malta. Previously, a jury was involved, but since there have been disagreements in the choices between the televote and the jury, the jury has been dissolved.
Also, the winner will not be able to change their song after winning. The song that wins the Maltese selection is the song that will be sung at Eurovision 2017.
The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will take place on February 18.
