Ruth Lorenzo: "Everything is going fine for the first time"

Ruth Lorenzo: “Everything is going fine for the first time”
Alvaro Sanabria

Everything is going fine for Ruth Lorenzo after her 2014 participation at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen where she scored 74 points placing 10th in the Grand Final with the song “Dancing in the rain.”

Lorenzo, who was a contestant in the X Factor UK 2008 before her participation received criticism from the local press when she was selected to represent her country.  One year later, she became one of the most popular acts in Spain.

I would definitely represent my country at Eurovision again.  The level of the competition has increased in the recent years and now the Festival is on its best moment.  We can take Måns Zelmerlöw (2015 winner) as an example.  His song has been played on the radio worldwide and the exposure after winning the festival has been incredible, says Lorenzo in an interview with La Voz de Galicia.

Ruth Lorenzo is currently competing in the Spanish version of the talent show “Your face sounds familiar.”
