AlbaniaAlTonight, the 18 countries of semi-final 2 will compete for the remaining 10 spots left in the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.

We asked our team of writers who they think will make it through tonight’s show.

Tuesday, our writers put Finland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Moldova, San Marino, and Montenegro in the bottom of their lists and all ended up not qualifying. The big surprise was Iceland, which all writers thought would qualify.

The guaranteed

There’s total agreement about seven countries among our writers for this semi-final. Latvia, Serbia, Lithuania, Australia, Ukraine, Norway, and Belgium have all been mentioned to qualify.

The safe

Belarus should also be safe tonight, as Ivan is mentioned by three of the four from our team.

In jeopardy

With Switzerland, Israel, Bulgaria, and Georgia only being mentioned by half of our team, we are not entirely sure they have the best chances.

If they are lucky

Poland is only mentioned once and needs a bit of luck to make it through to the Grand Final on Saturday.

No chance

Unfortunately, Ireland, Macedonia, Slovenia, Denmark, and Albania haven’t been mentioned at all. We think it’ll be tough for these countries to make it through tonight.
