Serbia searches for a third artist for national final!
RTS has already announced that Serbia will be returning to Eurovision after a year off, and the national final will be a choice between three acts to send to Vienna in May.
Vladimir Graić (the composer of Serbia’s winning song, Molitva, from 2007) will be composing all three songs that are to be sung in the national final in February.
RTS has now announced that in addition to two renowned singers, the search is on for a budding young Serbian artist to take the third spot!
Applicants should email their personal interpretation of a Serbian pop/rock song for a chance to audition in one of six cities: Niš, Zaječar, Kragujevac, Užice, Novi Sad and Belgrade. Audition dates and times will be confirmed in due course.
The deadline for submission is November 10 and more details on the process can be found here.
Marija Šerifović won the Eurovision Song Contest for Serbia in 2007 with “Molitva.”
