SIL and Yass move on to the Belgian final!
Eric Nocito

After another four artists presented their potential Eurovision entries to the Belgian audience for the first time, only two moved on to the final on March 16.

This was determined by a combination of points given by the jury and the public.

The line-up (jury points)

  • SIL – “What’s The Time In Tokyo” (93)
  • Yass – “Need You Tonight” (87)
  • Axeela – “Chasing Rainbows” (81)
  • 2 Fabiola feat. Loredana – “She’s After My Piano” (84)

Kate Ryan, widely believed to be the person behind the mask in eliminated Day One, entertained with her 2006 Eurovision entry “Je T’Adore.”

The judges placed SIL in the first place, with Yass in second place. 2 Fabiola feat. Loredana and Axeela received the third and fourth places, respectively. With the televote, SIL and Yass kept their first and second places, eliminating 2 Fabiola feat. Loredana and Axeela.

This means that SIL and Yass move on to the Belgian final.

The show continues over the next two Sundays, with the third semi-final on March 9, and the final on March 16, when the winner is selected and becomes Belgium’s representative for Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
