Slovenian selection song titles for Eurovision 2016 revealed

Slovenian national broadcaster RTVSLO has revealed the names of the songs which will compete to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Sweden this May.

The final is set to air on Saturday, February 27, and will feature 10 entrants.

 

The Contestants and Songs

  • Anja Baš – “What If”
  • Anja Kotar – “Too Cool”
  • D Base – “Spet živ” (Alive again)
  • ManuElla – “Blue and Red”
  • Nuša Derenda – “Tip Top”
  • Raiven – “Črno bel” (Black and white)
  • Regina – “Alive in Every Way”
  • San Di EGO – “Brez tebe” (Without you)
  • Sebastijan Lukovnjak – “Tales of Tomorrow”
  • Žan Serčič – “Summer Story”

 

How the Winner is Chosen

Evrovizijska Melodija (EMA) will air one night only to determine the winner. The first round will be voted on by an expert jury panel which will narrow down the 10 acts to two. The final two will be in the super final which will be purely determined by public voting. If in case of an error with the public votes, the jury will once again vote to determine the winner.
