The Schwarzkopf awakens - as 2016 Eurovision beauty partner!
After an absence at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Schwarzkopf has returned again as the Official Beauty Partner of the Eurovision Song Contest.
This will mark the seventh time the hair care company as teamed up with the contest.
Where It Started
Originally founded in Berlin by chemist Hans Schwarzkopf, the company today boasts being in the top 4 position among salon exclusive brands.
Jon Ola Sand Welcomes Back Beauty Sponsor
The executive producer of Eurovision, Jon Ola Sand, welcomed the return by saying to Eurovision.tv, “Schwarzkopf has been a loyal partner to the Eurovision Song Contest for a number of years and we are delighted to welcome them back in 2016. Schwarzkopf is one of Europe’s top brands and through this partnership we will be able to showcase another round of sparkling performances.”
Catarina Tosic, who is the Nordic Marketing Manager for the Henkel Company, which owns the brand, had this to say, “It is with great pleasure we announce that we continue the great partnership between the Eurovision Song Contest and Schwarzkopf. Eurovision Song Contest is truly a creativity arena where there is a possibility for participants to communicate their aesthetic language in all parts of the performance. Creating and making the artists’ visions into reality is something we love. With more than 100 years of experience in hair styling and with new market innovations every year, we are experts on hair and its expression.”
Some past “hairlights” in the contest include Jedward and Aliona Moon who was the representative for Moldova in the 2013 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. Perhaps we can look forward to some more hairtastic acts this year in Stockholm.
May the Schwarz(kopf) be with you.
