Tonight: Ireland chooses for Copenhagen

Tonight, live from Dublin, Ireland will choose their Eurovision 2014 representative in “Eurosong 2014,” during a special broadcast of “The Late Late Show.”




The finalists (in order of performance):


  1. Patricia Roe – “Don’t Hold On” (Mentor:  Valerie Roe)
  2. Eoghan Quigg – “The Movie Song” (Mark Murphy)
  3. Can-linn feat. Kasey Smith – “Heartbeat” (Hazel Kaneswaran)
  4. Andrew Mann – “Be Mine” (Cormac Battle)
  5. Laura O’Neill – “You Don’t Remember Me” (Billy McGuinness)

The winner will be determined by a combination of televote and regional juries, and will go on to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014.

“The Late Late Show” will be hosted by Ryan Tubridy and will air on channel RTÉ One at 22:30 CET. It can be watched also by the official channel’s webcast here. The show is also available via live stream at

Ireland will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 8 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
