Ylva & Linda submit song to Swiss selection for Eurovision!
Eric Nocito

As soon as the SRF online platform went live today for the Swiss selection, Swedish sister-songwriters (twins, in fact), Ylva and Linda Persson, submitted their entry “Closer to my heart.”

Closer to my heart” is a high-tempo pop song that builds as it progresses. Good instrumentals and harmonies will make it an instant hit. The entry on the SRF online portal can be found here.

Ylva & Linda has had their song “Surrender” chosen as the Reykjavik Pride 2014 and Malmö Pride 2015 theme songs. Also, Ylva & Linda is no stranger to Eurovision, having submitted 12 entries in various national selections in previous years:

Inaya – I need you now (Moldova 2013, semi-finalist)

Romina Mamo – Addictive (Malta 2014, semi-finalist)

Janet – You will be here (Belarus 2014, finalist, 3rd place)

Natalia Valevskaya – Love makes you beautiful (Ukraine 2014, finalist, 5th place)

“Silent Tears” (Lithuania 2014, semi-finalist)

“Breakaway” (Lithuania 2014, semi-finalist)

Solju – “Hold Your Colours” (Finland 2015, finalist, 4th place)

Anton Ovidiu – “Still Alive” (Romania 2015, finalist, 3rd place)

Tasha Odi – “Giving Up Your Love” (Belarus 2015, finalist)

Janet – “Supernova” (Belarus 2015, finalist)
