Željko Joksimović will compose the Montenegrin entry!
RTCG, the Montenegrin national broadcaster, announced yesterday that this year’s Montenegrin entry will be composed by Željko Joksimović.
Željko Joksimović participated in Eurovision twice in 2004 with “Lane moje” for Serbia & Montenegro and in 2012 with “Nije ljubav stvar” for Serbia. He also composed the Bosnian entry in 2006 “Lejla” and the Serbian entry in 2008 “Oro.”
Željko hasn’t been in Eurovision stage just for performing, he also was co-host of Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade.
In January, RTCG announced that it is planning the premiere of Knez’s Eurovision entry and videoclip in March.
Knez is a well-known artist in the Balkans. He was born in Cetinje, Monetenegro. He has released many albums and he is famous in his homeland Montenegro and its neighboring countries of Serbia, Macedonia, and Croatia.
Last year, Montenegro was represented by Sergej Cetkovic with “Moj svijet,” which reached the Grand Final and got the 19th place.
